Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3)
Our Father,
God of all comfort, thank You for Your grace, mercy, protections, and provision. Thank You that we are able to cast our cares on You because You cares for us. Forgive us for ungodly thoughts, words, or deeds. Thank you for cleansing us of unrighteousness.
Today, we’re praying for the people experiencing hardships due to devastations caused by hurricanes and wild fires. They’ve lost homes, jobs, and family members. Many have lost hope. Their stories seems to be fading from media spotlight while they continue to struggle in the recovery process. Because You are omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent, they remain under Your watchful eye. Never left or forsakened. Please bless them with the resources needed to rebuild their lives and communities. If any are in need of salvation, I pray they come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. For the ones who are christians, I pray their faith will not waiver and trust not fade. Guard their hearts and minds. I pray they draw near to You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
