Thou in Thy mercy hast led forth the people which Thou hast redeemed: Thou has guided them in Thy strength unto Thy holy habitation.
-Exodus 15:13
The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like rivers of water; He turns it whithersoever He will.
-Prov 21:1
Father God,
You already know that what we’re encountering today in this nation is disheartening and overwhelming. Help us to keep our minds stayed on You. Protect our peace. Help us to trust and operate in faith over fear mode. Our hope is in You. You who delivered the Israelites from Pharoah’s bondage are the same God who delivered the Jews from Haman’s death decree, and the same God who sent Jesus to deliver us from the penalty of sin. Thank You Lord! We are grateful! You are the same today, yesterday and tomorrow. May we always “rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and constant in prayer,” trusting that You’ll never leave or forsake us.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
