Advance!  Progress!  Graduate!  Commence!   All of these words are filled with a sense of and feeling of urgency in regards to action.  The reality is that moving in a forward or positive direction is the expectation that God has for all people.  The promises that are throughout the Bible in regards to forward movement have been chronicled in books, studied in classes and discussed in conversations.  Never lose sight of the necessity to take your studies, and discussions, of moving forward into actions that support them. The Bible    declares that the thoughts of a man are reflective of who a man is.  Let your thoughts lean toward the Will of God and then let your actions be in obedience to that will and your trust be in that will.  Ezekiel saw a creature that represented God and it only moved in a forward direction.  It is time for each of us to strive to be like Christ and be bold in our movement in one direction, FORWARD!

The blessing that God has for each person, work in a complimentary way, when those people work together.  Spiritual gifts may have been prioritized in order of need for the people, but they are designed to work in cooperation with the people who have the gift.  Finding your area that you are suited to work in, is important to finding out how God wants to use you in the place where you are.  Far too often, people are hindering their development, by not giving their maximum effort, where they are for the Lord.  Victory is the result of completing what you are doing, because not all finish the assignment.

Day 23: FOR DIVINE DIRECTION

“Now the LORD said to Abram, ‘Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.”

PRAYER

Father, thank You for the promise that we have in Your Word that You will lead and guide us and that You will continually take us to the destination that You have in mind for us. You have always led Your people and we pray, as Your people, that You would lead us toward that place. Lord, give us the mind of Christ that we might think like You think and that decisions will lead us toward Your will. Knowing that we will fail, we ask that Your grace will guide us even in our bad decisions. Order our steps and show us when to go one way or the other. And finally, use all of our circumstances, the good, the bad, and the ugly, for our best and Your great purposes in history. Lord, we are waiting on You and trusting in Your plan through Your power for Your purpose today and forever.

Is there trouble anywhere?  The answer is all too often a resounding YES!  God has not given us a life that is devoid of trouble but He has certainly given us a better way to look at it.  Romans 5 show us the    results produced through our suffering. The perseverance, character and hope that is produced will be dependent upon what we have made as our core beliefs for life.  When our belief is in the promises of God then we can rest assured that our hope will not fall short of what we need from Him.  Whether it is family, finances, fun or the future, God has a solution for every situation that can come our way.  The more we know about His Way the better off we are from circumstance to circumstance, from mountaintop to mountaintop

The bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”  One of the things that any coach of any vocation will tell you is that it is important to have a solid foundation to start from.  The fundamentals or foundation, will determine how much can be built and what can be built.  As a youth coach for different sports, it is more important to teach a young participant the right way to do things rather than filling them up with a lot of things to do without regard to proper technique.  As a minister of the Gospel, it is imperative that the fundamentals of the faith be established in the teaching, preaching and carrying out the ministry of the church.  As a child of God, it will benefit the kingdom, society and future generations for me to strive to   improve my life each day according to what God’s Word says. Take advantage of this being the first day, of many, to a better and brighter future as you build on the foundation that has already been laid in Christ Jesus.

Every year is a new year. Every month is a new month. Every day is a new day. Every hour is a new hour. Every moment is a new moment. In other words, there is no better time than right now to begin the process of improving your life. You don’t have to wait until a certain day or date. You just have to make a decision and act on it. What we believe is often reflected in what we do. Faith is expressed thru works; therefore, bring your beliefs to life by doing something. Let the Word of God be your guide as you pursue with passion the things that you believe will improve your life.
