Do you know God better today than you did the day before? One of the things that most of us long for in a relationship is that the other party gets to know us on a deeper, more personal level. God has the same desire for us to know Him on a deeper level. In fact, Paul wrote to Timothy that we should study (gain understanding) to be able to exhibit the qualities that best identify our relationship to God (approval). His knowledge of us is so deep that He knows everything about us past, present and future. We can know Him just as well when we absorb the information He has made available to us through the Bible. This will give us the peace of a forgiven past, the hope for this present generation and as assurance that our future has already been secured.
